Horrible doctor who has no idea what she is doing or how to treat patients

never again will I see this doctor. She is arrogant and condescending. She gets even more rude when you ask her a question. It took her 4 weeks to finally call in a prescription for me. Left me suffering with an infection.

Worst medical experience of my life. I've been struggling with chronic issues for the past 6 months and as a previously healthy 23 year old woman i was terrified about what was happening with my body and had no idea what to do. After seeing 6 different doctors at IHA which they were all lovely but did not know what was wrong with me so they sent me here which i was so excited to possibly get some answers. She is not personable, clearly does not care, made me feel like an idiot for making a follow up appointment when she told me to come in and that she could not treat me over the phone, and when i was in her office she said i don't know why you're here you need to go to this clinic which she never mentioned before. Absolutely horrific experience.

Dr. Mmeje always takes as much time as needed with me. She answers my questions very patiently and thoroughly. She took the time to look up a test result for me and then called to tell me the bad news, that I had breast cancer. She then called back a couple hours later to make sure I was ok. She visited me in post op after my mastectomy. I am so grateful for her kind and very personable style.

i waited over an hour and a half for my appointment. when she finally came to the room she looked agitated and was unfriendly and quite unsettling to be in the same room with. i was almost afraid to ask any questions. and when i did she gave vague answers that could only be understood if you went to med school. she is horrible with follow up and if you try hard enough you might be able to talk to her nurses which are friendly but not doctors so very clueless. i asked for her to send a prescription to my pharmacy so i could start my medication and it’s been days later and she still hasn’t done it. HORRIBLE

Is at University of Michigan Health System, worst experience of my life, inexperienced, not at all personable, rude & immature. Great hospital with a great staff but horrible experience with Dr. mmeje.
