Dr. Okey Nwokolo, MD

he cares about his patients and is very patient, he never leaves me with doubts or unanswered questions

I love everything about him he is AWESOME with my children and he makes them feel comfortable every time they visit.

He is the best. My children love him and he is always pleasant and listens to the children. He spends time explaining his approaches which is a big thing for me. He truly cares for his patients.

I just today have changed my children's doctor from this man's office. He has been both my boys doctor since they've been born. Everytime me go for an appointment we never see him always someone else. I was informed today by his staff we had to find a new doctor they would no longer see my children because supposedly we had for one of my boys 22 appointments in a year and a halfs time and missed 11 of them how is that even possible to have that many appointments in that time frame when my boys are perfectly healthy. I know what it is cause their not Nigerian I'm far frim racist my children are bi-racial being blk/wht but he picks who he sees and pawns the others off to his assistance. I will never refer him to anyone. I'm very upset with the whole ordeal really 22 appointment's and miss 11 in a year and a half come on now lets be real. Unhappy

Dr. Nwokolo has excellent bedside manner but his staff are a nightmare. He provided my son's circumcision after his birth, I have no complaints about his service. You do, however, really have to babysit his staff when it comes to billing your insurance. I know this is horrible to say but this is the impression I get, you may run into more "hassle" if you are NOT on Medicaid. I never got the same story twice about why our secondary insurance wasn't billed. By the time I even knew there was a problem it was too late.

Dr. Nwokolo is a very good doctor. He has always explained what is going on with my son when he is not well and listens to my concerns. Office staff gas gotten a little better.

This was my first visit and I took my 3 children. I loved his medical staff, the nurse or MA who did the basics(blood pressure, weight, etc..) was nice and had a sense of humor and made me and my children feel at ease. They performed tests that others doctors didn't bother with, such as hearing and vision.Dr. Nwokolo himself was professional and friendly at the same time. He took the time to explain every procedure to me and the kids.He and the nurse had my kids laughing when it came time for them to get their shots! Highly recommended by this mom!

I am mostly unhappy with the office staff. They seem to like to over schedule patients. The first time we went there, we had to wait for 3 hours. They also are very concerned if they are going to get paid. They always argued with me if my insurance would cover the cost for my daughter's immunization. It turned out they got paid every time.
