Dr. Olasimbo Mulikat Babatope, MD

She is not a neurologist. She is a psychiatrist. Awful, does not listen, wrong medicines called in. Can't reach anyone in the office. Billing is wrong, always. Now, she is closing office & going into telemedicine. Was not even notified that office was closing. Found out by accident. NOT professional at all. Patients are not notified of office changes such as when they changed the policy that medicines refills had to be called it, they would not accept requests from the pharmacies. Then, you could never get a human response when calling in for refills & messages left never followed up on & it was a multistep, prolonged ordeal to get meds. Or even appointments. I wish her luck with telemedicine, that should be interesting.

I have been trying for over a week to get 2 prescriptions refilled (4 phone calls and 2 physical visits). I stood at the desk yesterday until they told me the refills had been called in. THEY CALLED IN A REFILL TO THE WRONG PHARMACY FOR A MEDICATION I DONT EVEN TAKE ANYMORE! So now I am out of 2 medications that are necessary for me to function and have significant withdrawal symptoms. I have had issues with them multiple times in the past, but this is too much. This place needs to be shut down. Read the google reviews if my situation isn’t enough to keep you away. Babatope is a fraud and the worst medical “professional” I have ever encountered.

Prepare to wait HOURS , be ignored and belittled and then finally given medications you have already tried . She does not listen And is always behind & working on the patient’s before paperwork. They charge you out of pocket for unneeded testing that ins will not pay for .

3 appointments in for my child and this is the worst place and the worst Dr. I've ever had to take him too!!! You can barely make out what she says because she mumbles and she very clearly doesn't care about the care of the patient. All she does is up the dose saying she doesn't know what to do. I said to leave meds as is hasn't been on one long enough to see if it's helping. Doubles the dose and takes my child off a medication that is needed. To top it off the place is dirty and I was told as well to not bring the sibling back to her office (small child) that I need childcare when we come there. Please keep looking if you are referred to this place and Dr. She is very incompetent!!!!

I was trying to find this dr that treated me around 6 or 7 years ago, awful , doesn’t care ! Needs further education regarding opioid dependence.

Horrible place! Charged me for treatment that I did not get. Would not turn over my medical records to another doctor when I transferred. When I was in distress, Drs. did not follow up with my repeated calls or messages. I was terribly sick and in the mist of severe withdrawals and psychosis. Not one Dr. Called me back. Made the assumption that I was drug seeking when I was searching for help! I am absolutely happy that the Drs. at Augusta Behavioral Health realized my problem and addressed my asking for help and immediately got me into an inpatient program and an intense outpatient program to put me onto road to recovery. Augusta Psych Consultants do not give a real care for their patients. If you are truly sick this is not the place to go! They post their phone number like they are concerned but will never call you back! Best to call 911, you would get a better response.

Excellent all the way around!!## just what I needed. The office is immaculate and Dr Babatope is so friendly and impressionable. Finally, I have found someone to help me get well after years of suffering with disabling.anxiety.and stress.

Personally, I have been treated by two other physicians who held a DEA waiver to prescribe Suboxone (buprenorphine HCl/naloxone trihydrate). Those subsequent doctors pale in comparison to the care I am currently receiving with Dr. Babatope; not only is Dr. Babatope compassionate and empathetic, she is genuine in her pursuits to provide the best care I have yet to receive regarding opioid dependence and maintenance thereof. I highly recommend to those that are struggling with addicitions to opiate-based pain medications or heroin to seek treatment with Dr. B. Dr. Babatope tapered me off an anti-anxiety medication for panic disorder that no other physician had been able to do with any success. If one, as a patient put forth the effort to abstain from illicit and/or illegally obtained prescription drugs, one shall be extremely pleased to find that there is a physician in the CSRA whom is affordable, caring, and is an expert psychiatric addictionologist.

The office staff workers are very helpful including the doctor.

The doctor takes time to listen and truly cares about her patients. Very friendly staff as well which makes all the difference
