Dr. Olayinka J. Agboola, MD

My experience with Dr. Agboola during my father’s recent hospitalization was extremely frustrating. When he first entered the room, he was ready to discharge my father without even reviewing his chart or considering his current condition. I had to push back and insist on further evaluation. Only then did he agree to run more tests—which confirmed that my father’s hemoglobin had dropped. Despite the concerning test results, he persuaded me to accept the discharge by saying I could always bring my father back to the ER if he didn’t improve—an approach I found dismissive and unsafe. I had one clear and simple request: to have my father’s medications filled at the hospital pharmacy. I emphasized this multiple times. Instead, he sent the prescriptions to a CVS without our consent. It took over six hours to correct this mistake, during which time my father’s medical transport was delayed three times. This kind of miscommunication and disregard for patient and caregiver input is… unacceptable. I would not recommend Dr. Agboola. If you or a loved one require attentive, thorough care from a physician who can follow basic instructions, look elsewhere.
