In addition to being active in numerous industry organizations, Dr. Jensen enjoys his involvement with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He has also been a guest lecturer at scores of seminars and symposia throughout North America as well as in Europe and Japan. He has been involved in numerous independent research projects and is the author of three textbooks on oral surgery and more than two dozen scientific papers and publications.
Dr. Jensen received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Northwestern University School of Dentistry. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the Northwestern University School of Medicine and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of …Michigan.
Dr. Jensen has held a variety of teaching positions since the early 1980s and has also served as a clinical instructor in the St. Joseph General Practice Residency Program. He is currently a clinical assistant professor at New York University, University of Michigan and University of Colorado at Denver, and he holds hospital appointments at six major facilities in the Denver area. Dr. Jensen joined ClearChoice in 2007.
