She takes her time to speak to her patients. Makes follow up appointments The staff is very accommodating. Never had a problem. Would recommend her highly.

Im in a very bad mental place right now, It took a lot for me to admit I need help and reach out for it. I found this doc on Psychology today. The secretary was more interested in my copays and me filling out a credit card authorization form than my mental health. Im sure this doc is great but I never got a chance to see her. I guess when I obtain a credit card I can be seen

Very judgmental, does not listen well or communicate clearly. A painful experience, would never recommend.

Only interested in her patients as a way of making. Her style is to give pills and then rush you out of her office. Totally lacks empathy! Expect a wait of one to two hours in her office because she is too lazy and inconsiderate to arrive on time.

I have been seeing this doctor for many years. I find that her bedside manner takes a little getting used to. You have to ask questions and be involved in you own care don't expect her to have all the answers. She's very responsive to curiosity about your condition. The only major fault of the office is that 9 times out 0f 10 you will be waiting for a least 30 min or longer whether you are early, on-time, or late. This is NOT an office that is always on-time with appointments and getting called in to see the doctor. You have to be willing to wait.

I am an actual patient of this practice, not a wannabe patient who was not accepted or was released due to drug seeking behavior. You have to realize that majority of nasty reviewers did not get what they wanted: drugs or papers to collect disability. I get treated with respect by all staff, who always accommodate me. Due to my other medical issues I need to change appointments a lot and they work with me and fit me in at the very last notice. Email system works very well for me and Dr. Katz does respond to her emails the same day! Expect a very detailed screening when you first call for an appointment, remember you want to be in a safe place and not be in the waiting room with angry, agitated people. My depression and anxiety are under control now and I see Dr. Katz every other month for my medications. I am very grateful to the doctor for helping me out when I was in that dark place.

The nastiest office staff I have ever encountered in my life. Rude, unfriendly and just straight up nasty every single one of them.

This doctor wouldn't even see me and never even met me. Someone who needs help and is seeking it out. She don't care about people and there problems obviously

Dr Katz is one of the best psychiatrist in NYC. She helps me and my child in situation where all other doctors gave up. The office staff speak in few languages (Spanish , Russian) and extremely professional.
