Dr. Olga Sergeevna Senashova, MD

Dr. Olga is terrific. Pleasant, smart and kind. I feel very comfortable under her care.

I was referred to Dr. Senashova by my primary care physician. They said they were going to try and get me in the next day, I wait hours for a call back to find out. They then tell me that they will be scheduling me for Dec 4th (2 months out). I accepted it for what it is, and just tried to get my PCP to call their office. I get a call today that they will no longer be seeing me. Dr. Senashova has never seen me, never seen my intense swelling or talked to me about my specific issues. THIS IS WRONG. Doesn't seem like these endocrinologists want to help. Dr. Senashova did not put proper care and attention into this.

Tried repeatedly to get an appointment for thyroid problem. Staff originally said there were two doctors seeing new patients and they would be able to treat my issue. Got my doctor's office to fax the referral they said was needed. First and second faxed referral was not received, so I personally had to send it multiple times and keep calling them to confirm they finally received it. Then staff said they would talk to doctor and get back. No reply for a week or two, so called and spoke to other staff who said they would talk to doctor and get back. No reply, so after another week or two, called and was told to fax referral again with different wording and they would talk to doctor. Changed wording and faxed referral again. Didn't hear back so called again after a week. Staff said they didn't understand who had spoken to me previously (even though they confirmed there were notes in their system), and would not ask doctor to look at my referral. Huge waste of time.

Dealing with chronic illness it is a pleasure to have a doctor who will spend the time listening and discussing options without ego or attitude. She seemed very knowledgeable and didn't dismiss me asap. In turn the information she gave me was credible and helped me understand why things were happening like they were. One of the better docs out there!
