Dr. Olga Shif, MD

Dr. Olga Shif is an ophthalmologist who specializes in treating complex eye conditions, with particular expertise in internal medicine as well. She earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed residencies at both the University of Pennsylvania Health System and The University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Shif furthered her training with a fellowship at Sinai Hospital's Krieger Eye Institute, giving her 16 years of experience in comprehensive eye care. She is fluent in Russian, Spanish, and English.

Dr. Shif practices at multiple locations throughout Maryland, including Columbia and Owings Mills, and maintains affiliations with Saint Joseph Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, and Carroll Hospital Center. Her clinical focus centers on treating age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye conditions. She performs advanced retinal imaging and optical …coherence tomography to diagnose eye problems with precision. Dr. Shif also provides anti-VEGF treatments to help preserve and improve vision for patients with retinal diseases.
