Olive Alvarado is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of progressive experience in nursing and healthcare leadership. Her background includes work in acute care, long-term acute care, hospice, home health, and care management settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a PMHNP from Walden University and is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered psychiatric care in both outpatient and telehealth settings.

Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, DSM-5-TR diagnostic formulation, psychopharmacology, suicide risk assessment, and therapeutic communication. Olive works collaboratively with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including:

Outside of her professional role, Olive is married to her husband, and together they share a blended family of five adult children. As new empty nesters, Olive and her husband enjoy the companionship and energy of their dog, Bentley.
