Dr. Oliver Mike Burrows, MD

Dr. Burrows takes care of my family and he is always very kind and patient. He listens to our issues and is willing to provide treatment and care while allowing our input. Dr. Burrows has been wonderful dealing with our concerns and treatment during COVID.

I have never written a review before. I saw all the negative reviews and had to write one myself. Dr. Burrows is the greatest doctor I've seen in my life. He is so personable and friendly. I have recommended numerous friends and co-workers to him. They all love him as well. He is so caring and knowledgeable.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had called off of work today because I had an anxiety attack but I also had a little weird feeling in my elbow so I told my boss that I had strained my elbow and I wanted to take the day to ice it because I do a lot of typing at work. So my boss calls me back and tells me that she told HR that I sprained my elbow and they want to note saying I can return to work. I called my doctors office and they tell me that they need to make me an appointment and I told them that I don’t want to pay just to see the doctor for 2 minutes to write me a note. I go to the doctors office and I explain to them that the only reason why I am here is because my boss misunderstood one word when I called her and that I shouldn’t have to pay they told me that it would be $25 for the note without an appointment and after arguing with the woman I told her fine I’ll pay the $25 and she goes to talk to the doctor and she comes back out and says no Doctor Burrows says he… hast to see you so I paid $35 to see the doctor for literally 30 seconds and he wrote the note and I was out of his office. Keep in mind that I had just seen this doctor five days prior to this and it was for my arm the same issue and if I would’ve known my company wanted a note saying that my arm was OK I would have told him to give me the note last week so I explain to him it’s for the same issue there’s nothing wrong with me and he was like well you think there’s not but there might be and all he did was tell me “move your arm back-and-forth” and I did and he goes OK you’re fine. Like really?!!! I paid 35 extra dollars just for him to help me move my arm back-and-forth? That’s stupid! That was an easy way for him to make $70 off of me. He and his staff don’t listen they’re always cutting you off when you’re talking and they don’t actually listen to what’s going on with you I will not be returning to this doctor! I will be getting a new primary care doctor immediately!

Dr. Burrows is a great run of the mill doctor. However, when faced with care that is more complicated, he seemed to panic. My care is more complex, and when he was faced with it he became angry over the telephone, and abandoned me as a patient. He was not able to listen to me and come to a resolution..one that I saw and would have loved to have. Now I have to seek out another doctor and start over. It is really difficult, since Dr. Burrows has all of my medical records from being hospitalized for two years. What a pain in the A.. He also told me his office staff was overwhelmed because I ha called twice in the same week asking for a resolution to my problem. Again, I say he is a simpleton physician, and only able to care for day to day needs such as blood pressure problems, diabetes, cuts and bruises. He wrongly diagnosed my Vitamin D deficiency, and refsued to send me to the endocrinologist I had seen for years for my thyroid, even though I had recently had a thyroid storm.

I WAS SUFFERING FROM ACUTE STOMACH PAIN--CALLED FOR HELP-- THEY TOOK ME RIGHT IN AND PRESCRIBED A MEDICINE THAT HELPED ME IMMEDIATELY. I COULD NOT EXPECT MORE FROM A DOCTOR -HE IS A VERY INTELLIGENT DOCTOR WITH GREAT KNOWLEDGE OF HIS FIELD. I AM GRATEFUL THAT HE IS MY DOCTOR.

Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered!!! My Mom is 70 years old and suffering from Chronic back pain. Office staff does not return messages and when you do talk to them they basically say you are lying!!! I have had to stay with my Mom and not one person had called back!! We finally contact insurance Company who finally contacted office to get in touch with my Mom. This is Ridiculous and Worse to be basically told we are not telling the truth!! Corina is a very rude girl. She accused me off yelling at her and that she would hang up on me!! Horrible. I can't wait to find another physician for my Mom!!

Dr. Burrows and Dr. Glavan are both premium level physicians. They have an enormous amount of experience and can diagnose most conditions. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a family doctor.

Dr. B was the best Dr. I ever had, was his patient for 14 yrs till I moved to AZ. And boy do I miss him!

I have been going to Dr Burrows for more than 15 years and his knowledge of medicine is comforting. He is very through in his examinations and is accurate in diagnosing my physical ailments.
