Dr. Olivia Kate Barber

I had the most wonderful visit with Dr. Barber. She conducted a follow up exam based on an emergency room visit. She took in my entire history and did not rush me at any point. She took extra long looking deep in my eyes and stated that she was establishing a baseline for my eyes. I few days later she called me back for further assessments and I went. When the other MD came in to get a second opinion, it was share that my eyes were fine and Dr. Barber was using caution with what she saw in my eye. I'm extremely happy that she took the care to consult with someone else rather than leave my eye health to chance. I'd go back to see her anytime.

Treated me like a caged animal. Didn't ask permission to have a resident do an evaluation or an eye pressure test. Horrible bedside manner all the way around. She told me to "go back in there," nodding to a room I had been freezing in for hours while waiting for her. Also, open-mouth breather while she's doing an eye exam--I had to hold my breath.
