Dr. Olivia Smith-Blackwell, MD

No one likes going to the Doctor. But when I started going to Meadow Family Medicine, I felt like, for the first time in 54 years, that I found my home Dr. Smith Blackwell is the most personable Doctor I ever met. She really cares. She talks to you as if she has known you forever. Touches on more than medical. She talks with you about your feeling, your thoughts, your life. The entire staff is beyond amazing. My only negative is...I wish I found them sooner!

The office staff is very friendly. Never had an issue with them. The Dr is also very nice and always explains what she is giving me and some side effects. The NP is also great she took time with me and when I had ongoing issue she called to check on me. I don’t have insurance and never did they have me coming back to get money. I would recommend this office to anyone.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Dr SB was my mother's pc doctor and is absolutely the worst excuse for a healthcare provider-please do not take any elderly patients to her. She was condescending and didn't even listen to my mom's responses; she talked right over her. That is why I went to every appt. You may wonder why we did not change doctors, but my mom was 89 and her generation of patients do not "question" drs. Dr. SB is more interested in having her patients come to the office for EVERY conceivable reason to charge that office visit/$, when so many questions/issues could be handled easily over the phone. The 1 incident that clearly exhibits this lack of care: my mom had back surgery, was in rehab for 4 wks and was released. We needed DrSB approval for ins coverage for VNA home visits; which could have been done over the phone. She made my 89yr old mom come into her office, denied VNA AND my mom caught the flu while there. It took me 3 wks to appeal and have VNA come--EVIL

Always going the extra mile .Dr. Smith-Blackwell one of the few doctors left that actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and treat you as a person not a paycheck the staff has always been great.

I loved going to her but I changed doctors a few years back due to her rude office staff I cancelled ONE appt and got a letter from staff saying if I continued to cancel I would be taken off their patient list!. I then said fine take me o ff.Wanted to write Dr.to let her know about this but figured staff would intercept and throw it out

Very condescending when they speak to you. There are two ladies on the staff that are very pleasant, the rest of them need to get trained on how to speak to people.

What a wonderful office and Great Staff. Such professionalism. My medical needs are always addressed with great quality. Glad to be a patient.

This is the most unprofessional, rude, condescending Office I have ever been to. The Dr is a rude insensitive woman who unless you're visibly dying will tell you there's nothing wrong. The office manager Joan is the rudest, most in your face, aggressive woman I have ever met. I have never been treated worse than at this office. Do not go here!

I have been going to this doctor for many years now. I see her and her PA in a timely manner. I they both spend a lot of time with me and my husband. They are very knowledgeable and smart. I have every confidence in them.I am always treated nicely by her staff. They are cordial and friendly always.
