Ololade Omokpo, APRN, RN, NP

Ololade Omokpo is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered mental health care. Shaped by diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences, Ololade developed a deep appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the power of community—values that continue to influence her approach to care.

From a young age, Ololade was fascinated by human behavior and the profound impact mental health has on every aspect of life. During her nursing career, she witnessed firsthand how untreated mental health conditions could affect not only individuals but also their families, relationships, and overall well-being. Seeing the immense need for mental health providers, particularly for those experiencing PTSD, trauma, and substance use disorders, solidified her passion for the field.

Ololade earned her Master’s degree as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas in Tyler and is …board-certified in psychiatric care. She believes that healing begins with being heard and understood, and she prioritizes building trust and creating a safe, supportive environment for her clients. Her approach is collaborative and holistic, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a broader understanding of how physical health, lifestyle, and personal history contribute to mental well-being. She works closely with clients to develop personalized care plans that empower them to navigate challenges and build resilience.
