Dr Ogunrinde was thorough and ultimately diagnosed me correctly. I don't know exactly what caused my secondary infection, but I do have severe narcolepsy. He was smart enough to figure this out, because I have insomnia and it's rare to have insomnia that's connected to narcolepsy, unless you have narcolepsy from a secondary infection. He wants to try a new medicine on me. Every other doctor wants to give me Provigil or some stimulants to keep me awake. Dr Ogunrinde however wants to prescribe something to help me get my REM sleep (which makes sense) and the medicine has been proven to help narcolepsy patients fatigue by 50%. Stimulants make me feel worse. It's like my brain has to stay awake due to the stimulants, yet my brain wants to sleep and therefore I'm awake all day, but all I feel like doing is sleeping constantly on the stimulants. So when Dr Ogunrinde wanted to give me a good nights sleep, I was excited because I know we're on the right track. Thanks Dr Ogunrinie!
