could not have had more education about my diabetes in an hour any where in the baltimore metro. Dr.Lawoyin shared in- formation about the function and behavior of all organs using a chart and layman terms so I could understand. Education is the key to living with diabetes and Dr.Lawoyin's help I can have a health successful life as a diabetic. Thank you Dr. Lawoyin

I would like to add that I am a primary health care doctor. When I went to Dr. Lawoyin I was in a lot of pain, with a long list of signs and symptoms. Based on prior tests, I had narrowed down the possibilities to either scleroderma or one other condition. I gave Dr. Lawoyin the names of the tests needed to differentiate between these two conditions. He refused to order them. Then his secretary yelled at me for presuming to suggest tests. I had great difficulty even getting him to refer me to a rheumatologist. This fall after a delay of 6 more years, I have finally been definitely diagnosed with scleroderma, by the doctor named this year as "Doctor of the Year" by the (national) Scleroderma Foundation. Scleroderma is probably the most painful, debilitating and ultimately fatal of all autoimmune diseases. But Dr. Lawoying just chose to consider me a hypochondriac, and I cannot forgive him for that!

I had a horrible experience at this doctor's office. I waited almost an hour before being seen and found out from other patients that this is the norm. He was quick to put me on pills instead of running enough tests. Also, many drug reps came into the office offering many samples and to set up lunches. Both of which the doctor accepted, further prolonging the wait time. I will never go to this office again.

This doctor treated me as a hypochondriac. Several years later I have finally been found to have sky high anticentromere antibodies which are creating a scleroderma spectrum disorder. He diagnosed NOTHING. Soon after him I found out I had severe obstructive sleep apnea, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, spinal inflammation with 4 new herniated discs, elevated cholesterol, autoimmune liver inflammation, small fiber neuropathy, an adrenal adenoma which needs to be monitored, and eventually the scleroderma spectrum disorder. My visit to him was a total waste! Avoid this man like the plague!
