Dr. Oluwayemisi Titilayo Akinrefon

Great experience! Dr.Yemisi was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She was very patient with my 3 year old who has never been to the dentist but by the end of the visit, he didn’t want to leave! She immediately connected with him, making him laugh and explained everything that she was doing. I never liked any dentists for myself but I felt so relieved and grateful to found a dentist I can truly trust for my child. She was honest and gave me so many tips on how to keep my son’s teeth clean and healthy.

Sooo my son is always scared of the dentist and she was able to joke with him and keep him calm. AND... she was able to take his xrays!! He never takes xrays and he was so happy that he got it done.. WOW! We finished all his treatment and he is now ready for Christmas break. I will always take him here :)

We had an unpleasant experience with Dr. Akinrefon, as she seems to be a bit pushy and aggressive for a pediatric dentist. I insisted that my son needed to go back to school after his appointment. I declined x-rays due to his congestion, numerous failed attempts, etc. Dr. Akinrefon insisted that we have the x-rays and convinced both my son and I she would stop if he was uncomfortable. He became very uncomfortable complained of burning under his tongue which was very red. After he screamed, she finally realized that this was not only scaring him but also hurting him. He came to me crying. He was unable to return to school due to pain under his tongue and an upset stomach, from the stress of the situation. He said the dentist failed me. I couldn’t agree more. Extremely disappointing and will continue to us to share this experience with our friends and neighbors.
