Dr. Olympia Margaret Sophias, DO

Dr. Sophias has been my primary care physician for about a year. Some of the office staff are not well trained & have routinely provided inaccurate information. Getting an appointment is incredibly difficult, to the point where I was unable to schedule a time to see her for a minor fracture - her next available appointment would have been weeks after the bone had healed. During appts, very little face time is provided. Her demeanor is cold and condescending. At every visit she takes time to mention at least one condition she’s sure I have, such as having sleep apnea, despite not having any testing or symptoms. She also questions the validity of documented diagnosis in my chart, such as my type one diabetes diagnosis, even with this being noted in my chart for years and being treated by other physicians within the same healthcare system. Her only reasoning for this is my weight. I have a very low bar for respect from doctors in this regard, but she still manages to fail. Weight bias is… real & dangerous. Stay far away from this doctor.
