Dr. Omar John Arnuk, MD

Dr. Arnuk is a graduate of the State University of New York / Downstate Medical Center in 1996. He then completed a four year medical residency at Staten Island University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Arnuk acquired his Board Certification in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship into the American College of Physicians.

While working as one of Staten Island University Hospital’s first “hospitalists”, Dr. Arnuk was promoted to the position as Director of Ambulatory Medicine in 2003, where he was responsible for the outpatient training for the medical residency program. He was recognized by the Department of Health for his outstanding initiatives in improving outpatient asthma management. Also during that time, Dr. Arnuk served as Medical Director of the Coumadin Center.

In 2005, Dr. Arnuk began his radiology training as one of Staten Island University Hospital’s first radiology residents. He completed his residency in 2009 and went on to …complete a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York.

Dr. Arnuk is also Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. His areas of clinical interest include head and neck imaging as well as neuroimaging manifestations of the phakomatoses.
