Dr. Omar Farooq Nazir, MD

He is a disgrace to medicine. Arrogant, mysoginistic, discriminatory. Unprepared, unorganized and uncommunicative. Zero bedside manner. Never bothered to visit room before or after surgery. Doesn't even show up in OR when he is supposed to be in OR for surgeries/leaves residents unattended. Worst provider at OHSU and in Oregon by far.

Staff was great. Nazir was arrogant, non caring, did not listen at all, and promised things he did not deliver on that left me with more problems than when I started. I now have limited function of fingers (which were never an issue), pain (which he promised would stop), and most of what he said would happen with surgery did not happen (ie anesthesia). I now how a significant deformation in my wrist. So no, I do not recommend him at all.

Dr. Nazir answered all of my questions and was very thorough when explaining my option for treatment. I felt confident in his ability to relieve my pain in my hand. Surgery went well all of my appointments started on time.

Dr. Nazir operated on my clavicle 4 months ago. It has healed beautifully and my physical therapists are impressed with my range of motion and overall improvement. He was also a excellent communicator and answered all of my questions. Highly recommended.
