Dr. Omolara Y Otaigbe, MD

Just switched after Dr. Burkmeier went to Wesley ER. Dr. Lara is very nice, explains everything and is very easy to communicate with.

Dr. Otaigbe's office is a office i will never return to due to a couple of reasons. 1. Her receptionist named Sherry was very rude to me as if it was a bother that i called it was a bother that i showed up and it was a bother that i had questions. Sherry is also unprofessional due to the fact that while i waited to sign in or be noticed she was busy talking to another patient about hair care and products and how people should go natural and most offensively how spending money to get hair braided is a waste (i have braids).2. The doctor was very uncaring or uninterested in my problem. She just had a ok whatever sort of attitude to her.3. When her original diagnosis was wrong she just ignored me from then on despite the fact that i continued to vomit and lose weight for a week and a half. She was no longer interested in my case or providing follow-up care for another possible diagnosis or referral.3. I only saw her one time for the problem and ended up losing 10lbs within a week… following that visit. So I just took it upon myself to find help. I would not suggest anyone visit this physician unless you are an established patient because new patients get treated like crap. The only good thing about the clinic was Nurse Colette who was so sweet and the M.A. who also had braids i think her name was Kanisha they were the only angels in that mist

*The doctor was very caring, had no problem with her. Staff was not very good. *Had an appointment scheduled but it was deleted from the system, so we had to come back a week later. *Wait time to be seen was very very long. 30-40 min after my appointment.*Nurse seemed very incompetent. Couldn't handle giving shots to children. I feel she made the whole experience worse for them. *Did not have vaccines in office when we went in for our our appointment. They said they were not prepared for us. Gave enough time between when we scheduled to when the appointment was. Even had old shot records faxed a week before appointment. Had to come back.*Still haven't gotten the proper shot record form after requesting more than once.*Will not bring myself or my children back
