There is no greater feeling in life than the relief of being listened to and understood. I am genuinely curious about my patients' problems and difficulty confronting life's' adversities. Understanding how kids and adults are feeling and providing support in a non judgmental way is the key to having a good rapport with my patients. It takes a body, mind and spirit approach to care for a psychiatric patient but most importantly compassion, understanding and unconditional support.My sub specialty is in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I believe that by providing the right tools to children and helping them before they become adults, we are providing them with the keys to address future life difficulties and creating more resilience. I am Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.Every patient is different. I provide a personal treatment for each individual , not dictated by time but by each specific need. The reason I choose Dr. Cook, after speaking to several other psychiatrists, is she takes the approach of mental health from a full complete picture and not just giving you meds. Doing a full blood work before any medications are given and engaging my husband in my treatment plan…are the reasons I choose to see Dr. Cook. She is compassionate, clear and genuinely cares about you and your situation…I feel like she is my cheer leader wanting only the best for me. She is always available when I need her, always. I highly recommend Dr. Cook.

The camera and microphone worked perfectly. Even with a low wifi connection, I did not experience any problems during my call.

We are extremely happy with Dr Cook’s treatment and recommendations for our daughter. She is always able to fit us in for an appointment and is available if anything unexpected arises. She obviously cares about the safety and well-being of all her patients. We are blessed to have found her!
