Oralee Lorene Ekberg, DO

Due to traumatic life events and circumstances, going to the gynecologist is anxiety inducing for me. I had finally worked up the courage to see the gynecologist after sixteen years with the help of my primary care doctor and pharmacological management of my anxiety related to the exam. When I actually went into the office, those symptoms quickly became unmanaged. Dr. Ekberg supported me in working through my symptoms. I never felt rushed or shamed in this process. She took her time with me and was constantly reassuring. I would recommend her for anyone who has suffered traumatic life experiences and is triggered by this type of exam. I received excellent care, and I am so grateful to have gotten this behind me with her support.

I have seen Dr. EKberg for several years and she is a great listener and truly cares about her patients. She provides wonderful care to me. I drive over 45 minutes just to keep her as my doctor.

Dr. Ekberg prescribed meds that interacted poorly with existing medication I was taking. I researched it and found out the interaction could have been fatal. When I told Dr. Ekberg, she became angry and her treatment of me became quite substandard. If you need medication, do not see Dr. Ekberg. You will not be safe. She does not know anything about medications and interactions. BEWARE!

I've traveled and moved a great deal so I've had my share of doctors -- Dr. Ekberg is by far the best gynocologist I've ever worked with. She is focused and attentive, listens and reponds carefully, knows her limits and strengths and makes the patient feel comfortable and truly cared for.
