Dr. Adam S Pitts, MD

Fantastic surgeon. Dr. Pitts has performed surgery on me twice which included bone grafts, extractions and implants. The procedures were all painless.

I was an inpatient at a local hospital when the hospitalist had Pitts come in and review my situation due to getting a couple of infectious diseases from dental work done from a place other than Pitts practice. All I can say is Adam Pitts was the most disrespectful, unprofessional and very abrasive “physician/surgeon” I have ever encountered, and I am in the Healthcare Industry!! He acted as if it was a burden to even be talking to him about the conditions I was suffering and made it very clear that I was a total waste of his time by is snide comments and ill-disposed attitude. I had been going through enough pain and other horrific symptoms prior to his arrival and during my stay that I didn’t need a bad-mannered God mentality so called “physician/oral surgeon” to come review my case. I would never recommend this guy for anything! He had me in hysterical tears with his disrespectful comments, even to the point that the ENT that was in the room interrupted him and started talking to… me so I wouldn’t have to even address him anymore. Once Pitts left my room and my nurses came in and seen me in tears and I shared with them what had happened, they went running out trying to find out who this guy was and to report him immediately to the charge nurse. I will also be reporting this so called physician/oral surgeon to the Hospital myself in my review to them. Let me just say that unless you don’t care if you get an ill-mannered God mentality kind of medical provider assisting you, then I would suggest that you look elsewhere for surgical oral services or even consolations.

Dr. Pitts was very personable and kind to my 17 year old son who has autism. His staff for all very professional as well and very passionate about what they do. You could just tell as soon as you went in the office you are in the right place. Oh yes, and did I mention that they did an awesome job as well.

I would not go to Dr. Adam Pitts again if you paid me to do so. I went to him to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I waited for 2 hours in the examination room before the surgery started, and I was not prescribed an antibiotic after the surgery. I developed an infection and went back to the office for a follow up visit. Before my appointment I called and asked if the follow up visit would cost anything..and was told no. I asked after the follow up visit if it would cost anything again, and again I was told no. A few weeks later I got a $130 bill in the mail, even though in my surgical bill it included follow up care. Atrocious experience....I would not wish this experience upon anyone.

If I made Dr. Pitts wait for even 1/4 of the time he and his staff made me wait, he would get up and walk out. Not only that, they decided to place a patient ahead of me who did not have an appointment. I saw this patient WALK in - not an emergency - after my scheduled time and I sat in the waiting room for ages while he took care of her. No explanation from him or staff without my asking. And I had to ask several times.

The office staff and medical staff here are super friendly and very caring. Dr. Pitts had a hard time with me. I was anxious and terrified. But, he was able to make sure I was calm and collected before the procedure started. He explained everything and answered any questions I had. He also did a great job with the surgery. Recovery took almost no time at all and everything looks fantastic. I'm having a second surgery and I will not hesitate to see Dr. Pitts again.

I went for a tooth extraction and prep for an implant. Dr. Pitts was outstanding from start to finish. I can honestly say that the entire experience was painless and very timely. Great guy, would not hesitate to recommend. His nurse was equally impressive, clear and concise in her pre/post op instructions and great follow up. The receptionist, was friendly, and worked quickly with my insurance company to work out all of the financial details etc. Overall a great experience for a procedure I would rather not have had!
