Dr. Oren Zaidel, MD

Never got a visit. Called South Bay Gastroenterology Medical Group on a Thursday early afternoon set up appointment with Dr Zaidel. I'm a returning patient and needed to see the Dr for an issue I'm experiencing. Answering machine picked up, & I was on hold for 25 minutes without anyone answering. Message said to leave a callback number and after waiting so long I finally left message to name, phone #, date of birth, and previous Medical record number from their office. No response whatsoever, no correspondence or call back. I previously was very happy with Dr Zaidel, but with his office being run this way, I'll find someone else!!

Dr. Zaidel and his nurse, Bonnie, are amazing! The doctor is very friendly, caring, thorough, and a great listener. He is a true gentleman and genuinely nice. I would definitely recommend Dr. Zaidel.

Attempted to contact the doctor about how I was billed for about 4 weeks. Called every week and was told that my question was forwarded to the doctor with no response. I was told to make an appointment if I wanted to talk to him because the doctor told his nurse he wasn't going to do anything. Next thing I get a letter in the mail asking me to never come back. A five minute explanation and none of this would have been necessary. I guess questioning anything rubbed his ego the wrong way.

I was treated with warmth and concern. I always am!! I love those warm little blankets- thank you for those. Saundra

I've been coming to Dr. Piken since 1994 or earlier. Not sure how I initially became his patient, but I'm very pleased.

I appreciated the personal attention from Dr. Zaidel. He took the time to explain the results of the colonoscopy to my wife and me.

Visited the center for a routine colonoscopy and the experience couldn't have been better. From the reception desk to the recovery room, the staff, technicians and doctor were always very kind and helpful with information.

The nurses were awesome. Made me feel cared for and relaxed.

Dr. Zaidel is very professional and has an excellent bedside manner. He is very thorough and easy to speak with regarding my medical situation.

This is the second time I've had a procedure at your clinic. Both experiences were excellent. Everyone is so warm, welcoming and reassuring which really helps reduce the anxiety level. Thank you!
