Dr. Ori Shinar, PsyD

Dr. Shinar is everything you could ask for in a psychologist. He’s professional, courteous, easily accessible when you have a quick question and so easy and calming to talk to—like talking with a good friend! Knowing Dr. Shinar has definitely improved my well being!

As a woman who suffered from horrible anxiety stemming from previous relationships with men, I have typically avoided working with male therapists. But when I had my free consultation appointment with Dr. Ori, he immediately made me feel safe and secure and comfortable. It turned out to be a really wonderful therapy experience! I looked forward to every session to work with such a positive male role model who showed me empathy and understanding from a point of view that I never had from female therapists in my past. Lisa Seifer ????? 30 mins ago I highly recommend Dr. Shinar. He is amazing and effective! He has helped tremendously with trich and anxiety. We have seen other doctors but they were not nearly as effective. Dr Shinar uses real tools to override urges and overcome fears and anxieties. He is very patient, compassionate, and easy to talk to. He said from the beginning he will be able to help, but it would require some work. It's so hard going through something like this, feeling scared and helpless, which makes it so special when you find someone with a deep history of treating it who uses a balance of science and therapy. I came to Dr. Shinar on the recommendation of a friend. He immediately understood what I was going through and laid out a detailed plan and prognosis. We worked together for 6 months and my anxiety is gone! I went from daily panic attacks to nothing!
