I had a wonderful experience during my visit for laser treatment of basal cell carcinoma on my nose and leg. The staff, facility, and doctor are welcoming and professional. I was seen as scheduled and time was taken to throughly explain the procedure. I’m very grateful for the amazing work that Dr. Markowitz is doing with nonsurgical removal of basal cell cancers. I highly recommend her and her practice.

Great doctor, personable and nice. HOWEVER: it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach her office by telephone: you are bounced between various receptionists at Dermatology Associates. Than God dermatology is seldom an emergency, you could drop dead before reaching her or her assistant.

Dr. Markowitz is both personable and professional. She is, in my opinion, truly amazing at detecting, diagnosing & treating different types of skin cancer. Additionally she puts her patients at ease with her warm and jovial bedside manner.

I never write reviews, but I can't say enough about Dr. Markowitz! I have referred her to many of my friends and I always here the same response back...She's FANTASTIC! Every time I go to her I am so grateful that I found such a knowledgeable, caring and amazingly talented doctor in a sea of overpaid, uncaring NYC physicians. She is a real find!

I am a physician myself and do not grade other physicians lightly. I expect a lot and Dr. Markowitz exceeded expectations in every way. I was very impressed. She's clearly state-of-the-art in the treatment of pigmented lesions, enjoys her work, is detail oriented and highly focused during the visit and is very caring. Ps a physician, this is what I look for--- I'm not sure what else is important? I highly recommend her if you have pigmented lesions that need evaluation.
