Dr. Ory Barak, MD

Dr. Barak might’ve saved my life on June 20, 2025 when he interviewed the ambulance attendants that brought me to his ER then questioned my oxygenated myself. His great knowledge and professionalism correctly identified mass blood clots on my lungs. This was confirmed by a CT scan he ordered and I received excellent treatment thereafter.

I can not even begin to share my experience. I was seen by two MD and told to go to the emergency room for surgery, Dr. Barak dismissed me after 10 min. of seeing me. Never ran tests or reviewed images of situation.

My mom went to Kyle E R because of signs of heart attack. Dr. Barack came in asked questions and actually listened to her answers without assuming he knew everything. Her e k g was clear but he went the extra mile and checked again and thoroughly making sure everything checked out before letting us leave. It isn't necessary to have a sense of humor but it puts my mom at ease when she can make a doctor laugh. Dr. Barack seemed to get this and his bedside manner was spot on. I think he as a doctor is a serious man but he did a good job to calm his patient. He did not talk down to either my mom or I. I have nothing but praise for him and the nurses who were both professional and personable. I would love to have him as my doctor and I don't even like doctors.

Barak apparently doesn't like women and comes across brash and confrontational. He was on call in the Emergency room in Seton Kyle. He has no compassion for any type of situation the person that is ill. He comes in with preconcieved diagnoses and treats patients as so. He is very combative which only escalates when he continues to mean mug people that are with the patient. If people that there with patients, because patient is not in the condition to answer even simple questions. He seems to be very irritated to be working in the ER. Then his nurses only follow his lead. This man is very unprofessional and gives a BAD name to the seton health care. Seton should send barak through some ether and management or stress classes. I was very disappointed wth his & Seton's service and will be sure to let friends & family know. I'm very tempted to call the news stain and the city of Kyle to let them know of how many incidents friends have also mentioned about this health care facility.

He took excellent care of my dad who is visting me from chicago.I would like to thank you for the promt care you gave my dad.

Saw my son for less than 6 minutes, did not even touch him.Bereated him, the charged $150 dollars, unbelievable!
