Oscar Manuel Aguilar, MD, MPH

My 92 year old mother called him after hours with a urinary problem. He did not identify himself when he answered the phone and my mother had to ask who she was talking to. After my mother explained what was wrong, he told my mother he would call her back. He never called back. The next morning my mother called his office and talked to one of his assistants, who then went and asked him about this situation. Dr. Aguilar claimed he called my mother back and told her to take a specimen to a lab. Blatant lie! He is FIRED. This kind of care is not worthy of the MDVIP fee we pay to supposedly have attentive medical care. Unfortunately, this type of care is typical of El Paso doctors!

I would highly recommend Dr. Oscar Aguilar and Texas Integrative Medicine & Cardiology (TIMC). My engagement with the practice was prompted by a referral from a surgeon. My anxiety level was high, and my spirit battered by a medical condition that consumed my life, and in the moment, hopes for a return to normal. The office was able to accommodate a (new patient) consult within 24 hours. Starting with the courteous receptionist when first walking in that day, each staff member presented themselves in a positive, professional manner (consistent over 3 visits in a four month period). The last minute appointment accommodation meant that Dr. Aguilar had to place several calls for test results completed prior at the hospital (a less committed Doctor would have just told me to come back another day!). Doctor Aguilar listened attentively, addressed and answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly. More importantly, he presented me with such clarity that I felt very confident in my… decision regarding the treatment strategy. In addition to demonstrated knowledgeable professionalism, Dr. Aguilar presents as a kind-hearted personality dedicated to long term favorable health outcomes for his patients and the community.

Dr. Aguilar is one of the most professional and compassionate Doctor's we have seen. El Paso is not know for the quality of medical care, but Dr. Aguilar is the exemption. He is very dedicated and detail oriented and I feel very fortunate to have him in El Paso. Highly recommend.

I AM HAPPY TO COMMENT MY OPINION. I HAVE HAD A GOOD DOCTOR TO PATIENT RAPPORT. HE IS ON TOP OF HIS GAME. I HAVE FELT COMFORTABLE WITH HIS DIAGNOSIS AND PROGNOSIS. HE IS ATTENTIVE TO YOUR HEALTH. HIS STAFF IS ALWAYS WORKING HARD TO MEET THE PATIENTS NEEDS. HE GIVES QUALITY CARE AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE MADE SIMPLE TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE PROGNOSIS YOU ARE TO FOLLOW. THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING, FROM BEGINNING TO END. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR AND HIS STAFF. MY WAIT TIME HAS ALWAYS BEEN MINIMAL WITH GREAT SERVICE. STAFF COMMUNICATION IS GREAT. THEY ALL WORK TOGETHER TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. OUTSTANDING!

He is such a nice person, humble but very busy. A visit to his office takes half a day. You waite for hours in order to be seen for few minutes. You have to pay for every visit even if you have three follow up visits in a week.
