Oscar G. Bukstein, MD

Dr. Oscar G. Bukstein is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children’s Hospital and a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral health conditions in children and adolescents. Dr. Bukstein is nationally recognized for his work in pediatric addiction psychiatry and has contributed extensively to research, clinical care, and the development of evidence-based treatment guidelines. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship training in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.
