It is rare to find such a Godly, intelligent, and caring doctor. Yes you wait but he never rushes when he is with you. He cares about your emotional, physical and mental health. If there is a problem he will find it. So blessed to know my health is under his care.

In this world of corporate driven medicine it is uplifting to find a doctor that genuinely cares about each individual that is under his care . Although he is in a rural setting Oscar stays abreast of current research and sits on many boards. He treats me as well as all 3 of my sons and we all love him. He was very deserving of being awarded best family physician in the US. I Doubt there is anyone better in the world .

Is always in a hurry. Too busy to completely read the patient charts.

DR. Lovelace is a caring professional. He will pray with you in a time of crisis

After a cesarean last year, when I found out I was pregnant I went to see Dr. Lovelace. When I asked him about VBAC's, he recommended that I attempt one since I want several more children. He does not perform them due to hospital ban on VBACs but pointed me to a doctor who is supportive and does perform them. From experience during a friend's pregnancy, I also noted that he is not quick to induce labor when not necessary for the mother and/or baby's health. He does not feel the need that some doctors seem to feel to ensure that babies arrive when is most convenient for him, and trusts that a healthy woman's body will go into labor when the time is right. He is a kind, caring and supportive doctor and I really wish he could attend my VBAC!
