Dr. Oscar Elmwood Saffold, MD

In a few weeks, I will be celebrating ten years since Dr Saffold found,diagnosed and surgically removed a melanoma. I am very grateful for his skills that have allowed me these ten years. I was able to welcome two grandchildren, bury my Dad and care for my 90+ year old mother. I am so grateful for these ten years - without his expertise, I would not have been able to enrich my life with such meaningful life events. Dr Saffold is my hero. Thank you Dr Saffold.

Dr. Saffold is the best I have been going to him every since I was a teen in Cleveland, Ohio. My whole family have been to him until he left.

i went to this dermatology, along with my daughter, and the doctor prescribed us the exact same medicine. i noticed after several visits everyone in there is pretty much prescribed the exact same thing. Impossible that we all have the exact same skin. i did however like the chemical peel!

This Dr. is very insensitive and tactless when speaking with his patients. He was not honest with me about my diagnosis until I told him what I thought I had...then he said he already knew that. He would not listen to anything I tried to talk with him about. Instead of trying to help me fix the problem with my skin, he told me that it was all in my head and I was doing this to myself. WTH?!?!?!?!

I found Dr Safford to be a wonderful doctor. He was very caring, and professional. I had to drive over an hour to his office. I was not scheduled for cancer surgery on my nose at that time. When he saw how far I had to drive to get to my appointment his office worked me into the surgery schedule immediately, even calling people in to work so I would not have to come back. I can not think of another doctor that would have done that. Every visit we make to a doctor we pay for. He could have had me coming back a few times. Thank you Dr. Safford.

Dr. Saffold seems to be a very professional doctor. However, I absolutely believe that both his staff and himself lack on the humanity side. IMO medicine is more than simply a diagnosis; otherwise we would't need doctors, machine would do it. I truly felt like I was just another number. I doubt he would remember my face as spent literately spent only a couple of minutes discussing my situation.

OUTSTANDING PHYSICIAN

if you decide on service from this practice ask for copies of all paperwork...I was charged for cancelling an appointment the morning of my appointment instead of by 12 noon the day prior. I don't have a problem so much with the policy rather than I do not feel the practice adequately notifies patients of such practice especially since they deal with such a large indigent and medicaid population. the billing clerk stated to me I signed the policy form the day of my first appointment which was so chaotic you could barely breath in the waiting room not to mention I was not acknowledged when I arrived and I waited over an hour and a half to be seen so you tell me would you remember every word verbatim of the paperwork that was signed. this policy is not printed on any receipt, or appointment card I was given and then this practice doesn't even take credit cards. Overall just not pleases with the customer service.

been with this doctor since i was a kid he is the best dermatologist i have ever seen!

this office manager is short, mean-spirited and devious. Not a good person to have to speak to.
