I complained about waiting 2 hours with my infant to be seen and so he fired me as his patient.

Dr. Tamez performed rhinoplasty on me for what he diagnosed as a deviated septum (he never exrayed my face--in retrospect, I'm not sure how he "knew") that was supposedly aggravating my migraines. It was supposed to be outpatient surgery, but I had to stay overnight in the hospital because they could not stop the bleeding. The day after going home, I had to go to the emergency room because the bleeding had started again. When I went in for my follow-up appointment, I told him that I had a sort of buzzing sensation and pain behind my two front teeth. He immediately drew back and said, "Oh, that's not related to the surgery. You need to go see your dentist!" This was 12 years ago. Pain and buzzing are still there; I still have migraines. Me, I'd find another ENT if I were you.

Doctor does more talking than listening. Doctor has assistant taking dictation during office visit and at times puts words in patients mouth.

I have struggled with chronic sleepiness my whole life. I have had dozens of tests, taken crazy medicine and visited countless doctors to figure out what was wrong with me. It took me going to the dentist of all places for Dr. Vo to recommend me seeing Dr. Oscar Tamez to see if it was a breathing issue. Two weeks ago today I had septum/sinus/tonsil surgery and I could not feel more blessed. Almost to the point of tears! I have so much energy! I am so happy! Dr. Tamez was right; the better you breath the better you sleep!

Just had septoplasty and sinus surgery. Who ever knew breathing could be this awesome. I got the splints out today and I can breath. I'm excited. Thank you Dr Tamez

When he shook my hand...which he grabbed from me...he squeezed so hard I winced in pain. It got worse. His manner was condescending, even making fun of my wanting my "perfect nose" back. Any caring doctor might have asked what that meant to me, but I was not given the time. Since I had broken my nose, my request was quite legitimate, but one should not have to defend oneself in a doctor's office, anyway.

Canceled my appointment after arriving. I wanted nothing to do with an office that could give me a total for service yet to be rendered and before being seen by the Doctor. How do they even know what was wrong? Then they wanted payment pretreatment which was several hundred dollars more than the co-pay? They had my insurance information to begin with and I suspect that is why I was able to get an appointment on short notice. Who does business this way? Did not trust them so I left.

I love this office. Absolutely a fantastic experience. Highly knowledgable physician and the staff is friendly and caring.
