Dr Mir is very thorough, answers all of my questions and explains in a manner that I can easily understand. He is very personable.

I am very pleased with my first meeting this morning with Dr. Osman Mir. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. He has great communication skills and he listened attentively. He was incredibly thorough in reviewing my imaging and medical history, and spent ample time explaining everything in clear, understandable detail. I never felt rushed—he patiently answered all of my questions. He clearly defined my next steps and I left with complete confidence in his care. I highly recommend him!

In 5 years of seeking specialists for my wife's Lupus, dementia, TIA's and migraine, this was by far the worst, most humiliating, infuriating office visit. We came to see Dr. Mir on a referral from a neurologist two floors down. After waiting more than 2 hours and filling out a voluminous questionaire the night before, the "doctor" did not bother to get out of his chair or even shake our hand or in any way welcome us as "new patients," giving us a "drop-dead" look and asking my wife "What happened to you?" As he could have seen from our questionnaire, if he had bothered to look at it, it was a long, frustrating and baffling journey seeking answers to my wife's cognitive impairment, migraines, lupus, sjogrens and related illnesses. When he indicated that most people had already had strokes when they came to see him, I told him, "that's what we're trying to find out. We don't know if she's had a stroke. We were told she had TIA's and was at risk of stroke. We're seeking… diagnostics." He claimed he did not have the MRI results available from the doc downstairs, so I got up and went to the doc's office to get the result. Then he told my wife that the MRI he was looking at on his screen showed no lesions, no problems. She told him that she had seen the report that showed lesions and other damag. Then, he asked if her name was "Rene." "No, that's not my name," my wife told him. She asked if the clinic that claims to treat "migraine" could help her with her migraines. He shrugged, then got up and walked out of the room, saying he might be back. When I returned with the MRI report, he was gone, and the supervisor was trying to mend fences. He never returned. We have NEVER been treated with such contempt by any professional (much less a doctor), though we have run into some real mean SOBs. I would not recommend that anyone with a medical need EVER consult this man. He would not answer our questions or even discuss what he did. I was in shock at such disgraceful behavior. The DMV treats people with more courtesy. That said, he was an exception to our experience in dealing with Scott & White. Every other doctor in the system has proven incredibly courteous and warm, as have their staffers. Frankly, I pity the staff who have to work with this man.
