Dr. Osman R. Sayan, MD

I had a very bad experience with this Doctor at NY Presbyterian Hospital, Emergency Department, where he is the the Doctor in charge. I Visited the emergency Room at 12:00am on 01/12/2024 for an acute pain in my right foot due to a heavy piece of hard wood fell on it. I had nausea and I could hardly walk due to the pain and swelling when I got to the hospital. When I checked in, they did the vital sign test and waited in the waiting room to be taken inside until 2:45am. When inside where Dr. Osman attends they seated me in front of his desk, but he or nobody said anything to me then a transporter came at 3:39am to take me for an x-ray of my R foot and came back to sit back in front of Dr. Osman Unit at 3:52am. In between 5:00 and and 5:30am I started asking who is the Doctor that was going to let me know what was wrong with my foot, couple of nurses gave me the run around, but one male nurse who I asked the same question, he walked with me and pointed at Doctor Osman, he said “the… one with white hair”. I went to him and then he decided to talk to me and say that he was going to get me pain medication and I replied to him why they did not offered it when I got there when I was in pain then. I decided to leave at 5:30am, without waiting anymore for him. Part of what he said in my discharge notes are not true, because I left. The service at this Hospital is horrible and the provider simply don’t care. It is sad.
