My experience has been terrible. He is very arrogant. He doesn’t listen. He doesn’t work with me; he works against me. Very disrespectful & he talked down to me like I was nobody. He is not kind or caring; he is everything that a doctor shouldn’t be. Believe me, I have had many psychiatrists over the years and I can tell the difference between an excellent doctor and a mediocre doctor and he is a mediocre doctor, at best.

This is a doctor who cares. Having major and sudden issues with depression, he identified and handled my treatment appropriately and accurately. Negative-doesnt take insurance. Positive-doesnt take insurance ( he can taylor your treatment to your needs rather than being restrictive and/or too busy. Knows his stuff!

Dr. Evangelista does not care about the patient, he is quick to make a diagnosis, and even quicker to put you on medication (free samplers given by pharmaceutical companies), and in my case misdiagnosed and placed me on the wrong medication. He did not listen, he did not care, he didn't follow up. I was lucky enough to find a new doctor who was more thorough in his diagnosis before issuing out medication. Do not advise to anyone.
