His staff is incompetent. Made an appointment and was sent a confirmation text for a different date than what I agreed on over the phone. Called to ask the doctor a question and 2 weeks later still haven't heard from him. Finally got a virtual visit appointment and waited for 45 minutes. He was a no-show. Called the office the next day to find out why he never showed up, and he blatantly lied saying I never signed on. Simply unacceptable. Now I'm having to find a new endocrinologist. Don't waste your time. I never dealt with this type of behavior when he was at his previous location in Rockville.

Very nice person. Sounds and looks overworked. Staff needs more training in courtesy.

I have been a patient of this Dr for about 5 years. He is an excellent Dr. and knowlegable about diabetic and thyroid issues. However, I went to a routine appointment to see him and I had been ill from surgery and he proceeded to blame me for my predicament by saying that I was obese and that is why I was in the condition I was in. Whether he was correct or not it was cold, callous and quite frankly none of his business as to the circumstances of what had happened. He asked me what had happened and I told him but his comments about my explaination was for him to blame (me) the patient. He didnt seem willing to be able to accept that another Dr. could make a medical mistake. This has made me loose some respect for this Dr. and after my lawsuit is resolved I will be vindicated. He should have just kept his comments to himself.

I think Dr. Gonzalez is a great doctor, he shows that he cares for his pacients and spends enough time with them, I have been seeing him for about 1 year now and so far no problems, his secretaries are very kind!
