Dr. Otha Myles, MD

Great efficient, knowledgable individual. not sure what I would do without Dr. Myles and his practice. Lovely family and staff. great to see a family working together saving lives one patient at a time. New MD on watson road Accepting new patients.

I called one week ago to schedule an appointment for my husband and I. Our former doctor left the internal medicine part of his practice to solely concentrate on infectious disease. After that, we received a letter from Dr. Myles to transfer our care to him, as he was going to be at the same location. I called one week ago to schedule and was told by the receptionist that she would speak to Dr. Myles about getting us sxhedule and would call me back. Never heard back. I guess they do not need patients. That's ok. Plenty of other docs to choose from.

This is by far the most disrespectful, unorganized, unprofessional and none helpful specialist to see. showed up for a 9:30 apt. at 9 o’clock. sat in the waiting room for an hour. got taken to my room where the nurse had huge amounts of disrespect and was told to continue to wait. i was only his SECOND patient of the day and he was already “so far behind”. PATHETIC. we sat there for 2 hours not being seen before getting up and walking out. thanks for doing your job!

obnoxious behavior,will not listen or answer questions. treats you like a untrustworthy and stupid person. more like a used car salesman than a doctor.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Myles to anyone. I've had a long history of serious infections that have been life threatening at times and I recently called his office at 8:30a.m. on a Friday to report that I was having signs of another infection. I waited all day for a return call and didn't receive a return call from his office staff until 3:30p.m. They stated, "Dr. Myles is not willing to treat you until he sees you in the office and he wants you to make an appointment for next week". He didn't order any blood work or a wound culture. I called my Internist who saw me immediately and I ended up in the hospital and on IV antibiotics. I worries and upsets me to think what would have happened if I had waited until the following week for any type of medical attention as per his directions? I'm doing much better now thanks to my Internist and am in the process of finding a new Infectious Disease specialist.
