Dr. Othman Kadry, MD

Saw Dr. Kadry for quite a few years and he never took the time to spend with me. It was like a production line...just in and out. I had BCBSM for health insurance at the time I was seeing him, but later changed insurance because I lost my job. After changing insurance, I found out that Dr. Kadry was illegally charging me a co-pay for the office visit on my annual pap smears (which were covered 100% by BCBSM). I was told by BCBSM that no doctor should charge anything for an annual pap smear when it is covered 100%. I tried, in vain, the get my money back for these visits, but it never happened. I have since stopped going to this doctor and am glad I have. He might know his stuff, but if you want a doctor that spends no time with you and rips you off...go see Dr. Kadry.

I just heard Dr. Kadry may retire. Both my daughter and grand daughter were delivered by him and he did my hysterectomy. America needs more doctors like you! Healthcare has sure changed. Thank you!!

I went to three doctors before I finally found Dr. Kadry. I had serious bleeding problems and a lot of pain. In fact, my bleeding was so bad I sometimes need transfusions. I had embolization therapy but unfortunately it didnt work. One surgeon even took me to the operating room only to open me up and decide that the surgery would have been too risky. I was really frustrated when I got the bill for a useless surgery that gave me a 5 inch scar. A friend of mine told me about Dr. Kadry and I was so happy she did. When I first met him he seemed that my story was one he experienced with many patients. He seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. When I woke up in recovery I thought he aborted the surgery as well because my incisions were small and I had hardly any pain. To my surprise, Dr. Kadry not only did the surgery through small holes in my belly, but I was also able to go home the next day. I wish I saw Dr. Kadry years ago. It has been nearly 8 months since my surgery and I no… longer have the bleeding or pain problem.

I had two bladder-sling surgeries to fix my stress incontinence and both failed. I almost gave up and resorted to living with adult diapers until I came across a friend of a friend who suggested I see Dr. Kadry. Im so happy I did. I was a little skeptical at first when I met him because he seemed like the problem was not that big of a deal. Frankly, I was taken aback but I learned that a lot of his patients find him to fix problems other surgeons could not. Needless to say, Im happy I had the surgery. I am diaper free, embarrassment free, and enjoying life the way it is meant to be. Best of all, I had hardly any pain.

Ive been treating patients for many years but when the tables turned and I needed surgery I realized how hard it was to shop for a surgeon. I asked colleagues and friends and got many names. It seems that suggestions were based more on who they liked then what they knew. My surgery was more challenging than the bread and butter myomectomy. My fibroids were huge and I wanted to avoid a hysterectomy. I saw 4 different gynecologist before I went to Dr. Kadry. I must say his bedside manner is a little rough around the edges but he is a phenomenal surgeon. I barely had any pain and I was back to work within a couple of days. If youre looking for a friend, find another doctor. If you are looking for a superb surgeon, Dr. Kadry is your man.

What a horrible, horrible experience. He told me I would never have children, gave me a box of kleenex and left the room! I did go on to have a child who is now 20 months old. I have never forgotten how uncaring and inconsiderate this man was to me.
