Dr. Otis Sumter Warr, MD

Dr. Otis Warr performed surgery on my husband to place a stint in his heart. In doing so he perforated the sac around the heart causing my husband to go into cardiac tamponade which led to open heart surgery that very night to save his life. Luckily that open heart surgery was performed by another doctor. I understand these things happen and certainly no one ever plans for this to happen. But the issue I had with it is that he never owned it. He never had a discussion with my husband and I to talk about what happened and just own it. His bedside manners are terrible, and he comes across very arrogant. If I my family is in need to heart surgery in this town we will be traveling to Little Rock or Fayetteville.

At first DrWarr did a fine job then he started getting lazy I guess. But i was going to stick it out then i check on getting appointment the rude office girl refused to set me a appointment she claimed I had a balance of $240 I advised I was unaware of the bill but would be more than happy to get to the bottom of it i ask what the bill was concerning she rudely said we mailed you a bill. Long story short they messed up didnt bill the insurance correctly so they wrote off the remaining balance( hince ) why I never recived a bill. It took 2 days and a dozen phone calls to get this straightened out. They treated me like garbage because they thought I owed them money . I have tried multiple times to contact pam the office manager to advise her of the situation she refuses to take or return my calls I am moving on hopefully this will help someone not be treated like I have. I needed an angiogram for surgical clearance. I received a new patient appointment within days and the angiogram was performed 2 days later. He was very helpful and had a great bedside manor.

Went in with my wife her doctor wanted him to check what her heart rate was while she was sleeping all he did was change blood pressure medicine and sent us on our way total 8 minutes between nurse and doctor visit

Was sent to him by my doctor to have a heart monitor to see how my heart rate was while I was sleeping. Instead he changed my blood pressure meds.So how am I supposed to know what my heart rate is by changing meds???

This physician is rude, arrogant. His manners are atrocious. He does not respond to questions nor does he provide any helpful suggestions or ideas. He gives the impression that he is so superior that he does not owe the patients and courtesy or consideration. I would drop him like a hot rock if we had other cardiologists in our shall community of 12,500 people.

Worst attitude bedside manner awful , diagnosis wrong this man about cost me my life more than one time should not be in practice! Most rude uncaring Dr Ive ever met! Had to go to Arknsas Heart Hospital in Little Rock for the right diagnosis THE DAY AFTER APPOINTMENT WITH DR WARR

Very polite and informative. He made me at ease and talked to me like I am a person. Staff was very friendly and made me laugh!! I would recommend him to anyone.
