Dr. Ovral J Wynter

Nasty attitude, wants to charge for late appointments but when you are there on time, even before, you want 30 minutes to an hour after your appointment time to be seen. Is not child friendly, despite her advertisements and website saying otherwise. Not accomodating with scheduling cleanings and says she doesn't have saturday hours, but its posted that she does. Her poor husband does the billing on off days and screws it up. She on her best day is mean and has a miserable face!

I went one time and will NEVER GO AGAIN... I do not trust her honesty ... I am a person who had a new insurance and the Dentist I went regularly to (every 6 months) .. Doesn't take my insurance .. I also brush twice a day and floss .. She took my X-rays and cleaned them ... Told me after NOT probing my teeth, no pain and nothing found on my X-rays . .. That I have 10 cavities that she clinically can see (hahah) and wanted to fill (hahah). .. Fortunately I am smart enough to question things and went to someone else .. LONG STORY SHORT .. New PROVIDER said NO Cavities .. Go Home and see you in six months :)

i really love Dr. Wynters. I recently got porcelain veneers. She made the process easy and comfortable the whole time. I love my new smile. I am so happy. She really helped to change my life. Her Naima and Tina are the best. They always make me feel welcome. I will never go to another dentist. Please don't move away Dr :)

Very good dentist. I've been to Dr. Wynter for probably 4-5 years. I had bad experiences with previous well known New Rochelle and Larchmont dentists. I also had many bad experiences with Doctors as well in Westchester (I rate them all). I had the following procedures done by Dr. Wynter: root canals, crowns, filings, cleanings, x-rays and cosmetic work. I've never had a problem with Dr. Wynter. Her cosmetic work is very good as well. Dr. Wynter is very courteous, discreet and educated. The office staff is courteous and the place is very clean and looks pretty decent and good. I've never had to wait too long for the office visit or during an appointment. All costs are shown prior to work done and she has no hidden costs or is pushy for you to do a certain procedure. She also makes it easier for the payments to be divided during the process. I do recommend her. She treats everyone in a very professional way. It works for me. Good value. I find it very important to rate any… Doctor/Dentist, since there are more bad Doctors/Dentists around than good ones. Reviews are a way to make sure you are not getting scammed or charged excessive amounts and having bad work done or being treated unkindly/rudely while paying for a dental/doctor service. We have the right to be treated right and without discrimination. I'm white and Dr. Wynter is a very fine black lady. I have no racial issues. I respect and admire her and recommend her to anyone having problems with Dentists in Westchester. I also hope Dr. Wynter continues to serve people in this manner.
