I think he thinks he is helpful? Came off a bit too full of himself. He self disclosed way too much which felt strange. I think I prefer a psychoanalytic framework which he said makes"bpd worse" which I think is an oversight on his end as it ended up being a life saver.

It got especially weird when I saw him ok tinder.

On the advise and with consultation of Dr. Muir, my 19 year old son received intensive deep TMS treatment for his crushing depression, anxiety and OCD. We are currently in the 4th day of his treatment and the results have been life changing. His PHQ 9 score for depression has dropped from 27 to 6. His GAD-7 score dropped from 20 to 6. And his Y-BCOS score dropped from 32 to 14. We are hopeful that this ocd score will continue to come down over the next two days. For the first time my son can remember he is not having daily suicidal ideation. He is smiling and feeling good with no dude effects from treatment. I would highly recommend this treatment. Dr. Muir changed my life. When numerous psychiatrists wouldn't even consider working with me due to a history of severe depression, Dr. Muir took me on. He diagnosed me correctly and provided compassionate, intelligent and most of all, effective treatment. Dr. Muir made time for me whenever necessary and never made me feel like a burden. He effectively used TMS to obliterate my lifelong OCD and depression, and used compassion, intelligence and humor to keep me engaged and open to working with him. One of the things I loved most about Dr. Muir is that his goal is not being "stable;" rather, it's being "well." Excellent doctor who really cares about his patients. He works with adolescents that have more difficult than average cases.
