Wasn’t the doctor /specialist for me

My experience with OrthoSouth was exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Tabor to individuals experiencing knee, hip, arm or joint issues. Everyone in the office was professional and efficient.

Hello. My visit with was great. Check in and check out was a breeze. This was my first time meeting him and it was great. He listened and made it easy to understand what I needed for my quality of life Thanks to everyone.

I have been going to Dr Owen Tabor for different things for several years. My husband went to him also. He has helped both of us. He always listens and explains the problem and the treatment needed. The staff is friendly and professional.!I have not waited over 10 minutes any time I have been there.

Wait time was short. Dr Tabor listened to the problem that I was having. Took X-rays. Explain what he saw. Gave me the option therapy or a shot to help pain.

After 3.5 years of issues w my meniscus tear, I decided to pursue surgery. From the moment I entered the building I felt cared for and important. The staff were all excellent. They are proactive and compassionate. I’m very happy with my choice of Owen Tabor as my surgeon. He listened to me and was professional and kind. All my appointments were honored on time and very little waiting. After the procedure I was contacted to check in on my condition and to set up PT. They, at my request, switched me to another one of their locations with no frustration and maximum efficiency. I’m not a week out yet but walking well considering the procedure and back in a modified yoga practice. Thank you Dr. Tabor. You and your staff exceeded my expectations. Well done.

I am sorry to hear that Dr. Tabor has become a part of OrthoMemphis/OrthoSouth. This, in a sense, tarnishes the good quality of care provided by OrthoMemphis. I had one visit with Dr. Tabor when I needed a hip replacement. He spent five minutes with me, only to tell me what I already knew: that I needed a hip replacement and why. He could not bother to take the time to discuss the surgery itself with me. Instead, he handed me pages and pages of information about the surgery which was straight from the internet and which I could have easily found without him. I found him to have an arrogant attitude, a lack of compassion and empathy, and simply not someone who I wished to have treat me. For about two decades, my cousin was an ortho nurse at the hospital where Dr. Tabor practices. When I began to consider to go to an ortho doc in Huntsville, AL, my cousin told me if it was a choice of Dr. Tabor doing my surgery or going to Huntsville, that I should go to Huntsville. This is… from a nurse who had worked with Tabor for many years. Without her telling me any specifics as to why she felt that way about him, she did tell me all I needed to know.
