Dr. Oxana Jourkiv, MD

I am really shocked of what some people are saying about this Doctor. So..unfair. Oxana is a great Doctor, and I am her patient for many years already. I had been treated by several other specialists before, none of them helped me. Oxana is a best psychiatrist in the area. I would recommend her to any one.

She is unprofessional and even mocks the clients. Since I was a minority (Indian) she felt like she could treat me any way she felt. She would mock me and say that I will be a total failure because that is what my mother believed. She only cared to say what my mother liked to hear instead of saying things that would actually benefit me. She said that I needed Adderall and that it had no side effects. Anyone can do research and find out that it has several. She said that I should not go to college because my mother was not comfortable sending me. She supported my mother's wrong belief. Actually, college was one of the best decisions I made against her advice. I graduated from a top-ranked liberal arts college, studied abroad in Paris, and landed several job offers after graduation. I did this all without taking any medications that she wrongly prescribed and without her over-priced services. I fired her as soon as I turned 18 because she didn't care at all about me and only what would… make my mother happy so that she could keep me as a client.
