They are listed as taking Anthem Blue Cross Calpers Gold PPO, but don't actually take it. Then told my husband they could continue to see him and just bill our secondary insurance, which of course is not how insurance works. I think Blue Cross should remove them as a provider for not providing accurate information.

I will be 73 this year and have COPD (A Upper Respiratory Disease), making me a very high risk for the Corona Virus. I requested a telephone consult with my current doctor working in this office and it was denied. They simply said "We are no longer doing that." They wanted me to make an appointment to come in to the office. It is unfair in my condition to have to sit in a crowded waiting room exposing myself to other patients who might very well be infected with this deadly virus. I do not understand why a simple phone call would be available to myself and others with high risks.

I went in for a wellness exam as a new patient with this provider. I arrived at 1430, turned in my paperwork at 1442 and my appt was at 1445. I was not pulled back for my appt until 1510. After the tech got my vitals, the physician came in asking why I needed the physical/wellness exam and who my "normal doctor is". I do not have one. We are military and I have not been seen since having my child nearly a year ago. The provider then states "well do you even have insurance". I said yes, provided my insurance name. He looked at the computer and verifies it. He then asks me if I have asthma. I say no. He then states "are you sure you don't?" I reply no. No one in my family has asthma and I have never (at 30 years old) had any respiratory issues. The conversation progresses a minute or so and on to family history. I state that my father (about 15 years ago) had a heart attack after being grossly overweight. The conversation ends and the physician states "you will have an EKG because you… have a horribly substantial family history of cardiac disease". I stated that I was an athlete and always have been and even after my father had his heart attack and seeing about 10 providers since, I have never been asked to complete that and am not sure that it's needed. He then elevated his voice and tells me "I have a meeting, I don't have time for you. Get out of my office." I sat there in complete shock. He then sat onto his rolling chair and rolled extremely close to me; It felt like we were nearly touching knee to knee. He then stated "I'm not signing your form. Go find a new provider. This is my office. Get out!" I told him if it's necessary to complete that testing for a physical then o.k. but I just didn't understand the true medical necessity in it. I also mentioned I wouldn't be coming back to see him because the behavior. He then told me to "I don't care. Get out. Go find someone new" and walked out. He was no where to be found when I walked out of the office.

In two weeks Time, I Saw 2 PA's in that office and the gynecologist. The gyno is wonderful in my complaints have nothing to do with her. I was given a shot to try to stop my migraine. I was given a preventative medication that I only took for two days because it was horrible. They offered me nothing else and handed me off to the specialist, even though there was a gap in the time. I guess I get to figure this out on my own for now. Definitely don't go there if you have a migraine problem. They don't know what to do. I had to call the office three times to get the answer that they can't do anything else for me. Quite unprofessional. And who gives up on a patient and just leaves them suffering?

You are at the mercy of your maker if you see anyone in his office. I've been misdiagnosed several times over three years, once ending up in ER because of it. I never have been notified of my x-rays or blood lab results even when I ask for a copy. This last time I was in painful agony in my jaw & ear. My BP was high, he doubled my BP meds without saying anything & sent it in to the pharmacy. He told me he had other patients to see and began to leave. He did however wanted to know why I listened to a ob/gyn specialist instead of his PA wife who took me off my meds & wanted to know about the results of my mammogram which was in his file if he had looked. None of it had anything to do with my visit! The man sneered at me! He did not touch me, he looked in one ear and said it was fine, that I had nothing wrong with me, then told me again he had other patients. Three days later I saw another doctor who diagnosed me with a severe, chronic nerve disease, a double ear & sinus infection. Since… taking the correct meds and medical care, my BP is back to normal. I'm not going back. You, dear reader, shouldn't either.

Great doctor from pediatric to women's health and everything in between

Heavy patient load so it seems quite often that it is a long wait which since I have to use a ride service makes for a long day. Otherwise everything else is top notch. I personally see Debra when I have an appointment and am extremely pleased.

They lied to our face and turned away my twins for their 8 month well baby visit and vaccinations. They claimed some new law went into effect and that they no longer accepted our PPO. Our insurance is Blue Cross/Blue Shield. They claimed no provider in the area would accept our insurance. I called around on the way home and found out they were lying to my face. They didn't even have the decency to call and cancel the appointment. They waited for us to show up and then denied our babies medical care, even though they were established patients who had been there twice before. One of my twins has a medical condition, which makes these exams even more important than they already are.

Dr Sobero, is a kind and wonderful doctor, I would recommend to anyone. He really knows his stuff.
