Dr. Padmaja Vani Venuturumilli, MD

Dr. Venuturumilli seems to have an overly cautious treatment philosophy. She was slow to start treatment, and even when my Dad’s cancer was very advanced, she seemed very concerned with any possibility that a treatment might hurt him, even knowing that lack of treatment would certainly lead to a prompt death. After the initial treatments stopped working, we had to get a second opinion to talk Dr. V into trying another treatment, which she then quickly cut off--even though Dad’s physical condition was markedly improving (no scans were done at this time, so it is impossible to know what the status of the cancer was)--because his blood counts were dropping, even though it was not clear if this was caused by the drug or the cancer itself. He never had any physical side effects from any of his treatments.

Thanks to Dr. V, I am a 5 year breast cancer survivor. She is very kind and intelligent. Took the time to answer all my questions. She took care of me when I was going through chemo and managed all my side effects efficiently - cindi

This was the worst doctor experience in my 71 years. She was totally dismissive, had difficulty reading my labs, misdiagnosed my condition. Please do not see this doctor.

This was the worst experience I have had in my 71 years. She was dismissive. Couldn't seem to read my records correctly and actually gave me an inaccurate diagnosis. I would avoid this doctor at all costs!

Excellent, kind, no nonsense professional

Excellent oncologist. Listens to all my problems very patiently, is gentle and compassionate, and explains very clearly. Seems to know her subject well.

DR. V communicates very clearly, seems to really know her stuff and is exceptionally caring and compassionate. She was more or less randomly assigned to me because the doctor I had requested had left the practice, and I was a little skeptical of a doctor I'd never heard of, but she has turned out to be excellent. I am glad she's my doctor.

Doctor is analytical and knows the subject.
