Dr. Padmalatha Gurram, MD

I saw Dr. Gurram for my 1st visit about a week ago and her presence and bedside manner is awful. She actually told me that I didnt have the 'clinical diagnosis' for an autoimmune disorder that I was diagnosed with from my hematologist! She told me she would not have started me on the treatment that my hematologist did, which has SAVED the life of my baby! It was so insensitive and unwarranted. The entire office was a mess, they didn't have paperwork they assured me they could get from "internal records". I am actively seeking a new MFM doctor. She had 1 foot out the door the entire 10 minutes maybe she met with my husband and I. Working with high risk pregnant women, I would expect these doctors to have more compassion and sensitivity and left my appointment completed disgusted.

I had to see Dr Gurram twice due to my advanced maternal age. Her office staff was friendly and warm. She answered all my questions and put my concerns at ease. Very easy to schedule an appointment.

she make pretty scared of pregnancy. explanation of doubts and scans are in a non friendly way. not pleasant and not so pleased to answer the doubts of pregnancy. simply schedules follow up without proper explanation of facts. I had taken second opinion from an other Dr and dint have to schedule appointments every week. Dr Gurram asked me to schedule for scans every week when all my tests and scans were normal.
