I decided to open up my own practice after working many years in the healthcare industry to meet the needs of the mental health community. I've worked with most populations and many areas to include emergency medicine, cardiac, corrections, critical care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric clinics and hospitals, ECT, and providing psychiatric care as a provider in various nursing home and outpatient settings. I grew up in beautiful Denver Colorado. I have been a nurse for over 15 years, serving various populations of patients in a variety of settings. I've also been a nurse educator for staff and nursing students 5 years. I strive to help my patients learn about their illnesses through a holistic approach, helping them take charge of their own lives and mental health. My passion is providing mental health to the underserved and disadvantaged populations, which led me to become a nurse practitioner.
