Dr. Palivela P Raju, MD

My son was brought in for a standard hearing test. Before the test even happened Dr. Raju came into the room asked me what the visit was needed for and I explained ECI was requiring the test. He then proceed to look at my hand and ask me where I lived. I told him and he grumbled to the attending nurse about the community history (I am not native to this community so already this is moot) anyway before the hearing test was even administered he proceeds to explain that the hearing loss my son may or may not have could be due to him contracting chlamydia from me and that by a year hearing loss my be up to 30%. Strange that its assumed 1. That my child even has hearing loss considering the test wasn't even given and 2. That I magically gave my son an STD that all my medical records show that I, in fact do not nor have ever had. So, he's assumed my marital and sexual status solely off the fact that I don't live in his idea of the best neighborhood and lack of a wedding ring. At the end of… this visit the test never was able to be completed but this was not due to a fault on the clinic's end by my young child's lack of willingness. It is still gravely unprofessional to assume a diagnosis without any medical test being done and to assume someone's moral status in any event regardless of the medical situation unless it directly pertains to the patient at hand's treatment and status of health.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about the doctor himself. But his entire staff should be fired. Dr. Raju ordered an X-ray for my son, and after calling multiple times over the course of a month they could never track down the X-ray. Or rather, they didn't try. I had to contact the radiology department myself who informed me that they did fax it over. As soon as it is put in the computer it is sent automatically. All of this on top of the fact that the billing is all screwed up and I got a $400 bill in the mail for NOTHING because they didn't properly bill the primary/secondary insurance company. Save yourself the time and do not make an appointment here. Not worth the stress and time.

I have been a patient Dr. Raju for close to 20 years. He is an excellent doctor, I fully trust his expertise, he has kept up with cutting edge technology. Dr Raju is an enjoyable person and easy to talk to.

I have had Dr. Raju as my Dr. For over 20 yr. I live out of state but still drive in too see him. I put my faith and loyalty where I feel it is best Å?pent. He is very good . I that God when I found him"

This is the worst physician I've ever been to. He was rude to me and his office staff. Yelling at them in front of patients, calling them "dumb". He needs to be reported.

I went to this Dr. office in bay city and it was so old and out dated. it stunk and he is really rude. the room i was put in was so scary and nothing looked sterile. If I had something other than Medicaid I can promise you I would not be going to him.

i wen to this dr and because i didn't want tubes in my sons ears he told me to find another dr. would not send my dog to this man!!...oh and he yelled at my 3 year old spinning around on his stool...JERK!
