Dr. Pallavi Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma is an amazing doctor with lots of knowledge and compassion for her patients. She took the time to explain everything very well to me, she’s the best!!

wrong diagnosis came into room saying my xray was fine when I hadnt had and xray. Diagnosed me with celluitius when in fact new xray came back with possible fibula fracture. on my way to orthopedics now. I didnt even get a discharge paper to tell me what to do. Gave me antiobiotics

Wrong diagnosis. Horrible bedside manner. Did not even ask questions or examine my daughter. Had to send nurse to ask what the diagnosis was, even though it turned out to be wrong. I am shocked that she even has a job. Her diagnosis was so far wrong.

Took my daughter who has Down syndrome to Urgent Care complaining of elbow pain. Dr. Sharma did not examine, touch or move her arm. Ordered elbow x-ray and came back and said no elbow fracture, nurse will be in with a sling and then you are free to leave. She left the room in less than 2 minutes, before I could ask th diagnosis. I asked the nurse to ask Dr. Sharma for a diagnosis. She came back and said sprained elbow. I was convinced of that so we went to our primary care doctor who felt her whole arm, moved it, etc. and said he thought the pain was coming from her shoulder and order shoulder x-ray. Bottom line, it was calcification on rotator cuff. She ended up needing cortisone injection in the shoulder which took care of the pain. Dr. Sharma was completely insensitive and incompetent.

Went to see her , and she suggested that I must be imagining the chest pain I went to see her for..Finally when i insisted she ordered an xray.... for the 5 mins of time with her, i spent about 1 hr waiting for her to make an appearance, another 40 mins waiting to be taken for xray and an equal amount of time after it to hear back from her. she concluded the visit by suggesting that if i was not happy next time I should go to the ER. WTH !!!! What was I paying for here then?

Dr. sharma is an excellent doctor who cares and understands patients extremely well !!
