Dr. Pamela J Brown, MD

Dr Stone and her assistant; Monica; are anything but compassionate!! It would appear that they don't practice empathy in this office affiliated with life or death. My best friend was told she was dying by the comment; 'well you want to start planning your funeral.'. Who in the world does that?! Furthermore, after receiving THAT information, they didn't bother to even tell her just how long she's got left to plan her funeral.

Started going to Dr Brown after Dr Moon retired ( who was wonderful). Although intelligent & thorough, she has the personalty of a wet noodle. She was very rough and nearly took my breast off at my last exam. As I left the office, I said that was my last time & changed to a new Dr. No one should feel uncomfortable and be treated in this manner. I have never looked back! What a shame as I was a patient for over 28 years!

I would trust her with my life. I have been a patient for over 18 years and the reason is because I feel she really cares about me. She knows her stuff and takes the time to answer any questions I have. She is busy, because she is a good doctor. I read some of the harsh reviews and I have never had any of those experiences with Dr. Brown. I have recommended her to all my family and anyone looking for a good, caring physician.

Dr. Brown delivered two of my three children. She is very professional and serious, but empathetic. She encouraged me to breastfeed. She listens to my concerns and can relate, because in some ways she has walked the same path as a woman. Sometimes she does seem over-scheduled and rushed, but if you need to talk with her, just let her know....she will not leave the room until you have your questions answered.

Though Dr. Brown is obviously very intelligent and knows her business well, I did not feel comfortable with her style. She was cold and curt, all business, no warmth at all and she talks fast, with medical jargon. I felt pushed and like I couldn't ask questions.On my last visit, she diagnosed my cysts and she scared the crap out of me by making my situation sound much more dire than it was. I then lived in complete fear for a week til I could see a surgeon who told me she really didn't think it was cancer. I simply see no reason for any client to feel scared by a doctor, no matter what! I couldn't figure out why she was being so intense with me, as if she was concerned I wouldn't get it followed up on so she had to scare me this way to do so (which couldn't be farther from the way I am). She is also a very cut-happy surgeon, seeming to take the invasive route more often than not. I swore I'd never see her again and I hope I don't have to.

I have been a patient for 8 years and have never had a bad experience. I had a emergency problem which required surgery and Dr Brown and her office treated my case wonderfully in a same day and also schedule the needed surgery. Dr Brown did my surgery and I have never had a problem since. She is caring, dedicated and kind. I have referred many of my office coworkers and they all love her too.

first off the office is SO BAD. i would wait and wait for my appointments. finally i made the first appointment of the day at 8 a.m. and still waited 45 minutes. then they charged me $55 for a specialist visit instead of $20 for annual wellness visit and didn't believe me when i protested. about 30 minutes after i left they called and i was right and i could come back to get my $35! dr. brown put me on this pill that made me have horrible spotting and anxiety attacks. i went back THREE times and all she could say was give it a few more months and it had been almost a year...switched gynos and got on a new pill and was so much better off never seeing Dr. Brown again! then when my new doc called to switch my records over Dr Brown (for the first time ever) called me to ask why i was leaving....

I hadn't seen a doctor for a while with an ongoing condition I have for lack of insurance/funds to cover cost. So when I saw Dr Brown(who I pulled out of a hat)I didn't know what to expect but she was caring and wanted to help me. I ended up needing a surgery. I had this surgery once before. So I expected the same treatment I had before. Dr Brown went above and beyond she held my had as I went under. I had to ask her who she was holding my had with the mask on i didnt recognize her or expect the Dr to treat me so carefully, not only was her bedside manner wonderful it is beyond what is expected. I appreciate her caring and follow up.

I have been Dr. Brown's patient for about 18 years. I was in my mid 40's and am now in my mid 60's. I have found her to thorough, never in a rush but always timely. She reviews my medical history and follows up on any prior medical problems. She quotes research when I have a question and offers choices for my consideration. When I moved I found I was not satisfied with the gyn care of another doctor and now I drive some distance to see Dr. Brown.
